The standard packaging for a 4x8 FT 3mm PVC foam board includes

a plywood pallet, cardboard edge protectors , and 10mm wooden plate for both the top and bottom.

The wooden pallet offers ample protection to the PVC foam board during transportation, effectively shielding it from potential bending caused by vertical loading. Additionally, it enables the board to be easily loaded and unloaded using a forklift, ensuring a convenient and efficient process.

Moreover, the wooden pallet is also convenient for the storage management of shelves.

 The cardboard edge protectors

During the transportation process, the vibrations and movements of the vehicle can potentially lead to the packing straps becoming taut and inadvertently constricting the PVC foam sheet. To mitigate this risk, it is crucial to employ cardboard edge protectors for an additional layer of safeguarding. We take 8-12 edge protectors beneath the PP packing strap. This added measure fortifies the protection, ensuring that the PVC sheet remains unaffected and is not constricted by the packing strap.

10mm wooden plate

The incorporation of 10mm wood is a deliberate strategy aimed at enhancing the safeguarding of PVC foam boards. Based on valuable feedback from our previous customers, it was noted that prior to the inclusion of these 10mm boards, the initial and final boards often exhibited varying types of damage, such as indentations or warping. However, since the introduction of the splints, this issue has significantly diminished, and such discrepancies are now rarely encountered.
